Battery operation 1. Remove the Battery cover on the rear of the unit by pushing the 1 1 catches as shown. 2. Insert four LR20 (D size) batteries into the spaces in the compart- ment. Using your radio for the first time - DAB Your radio is supplied with mains adaptor 1. Place your radio on a flat surface. Insert the adaptor plug into the DC socket located on the left hand of your radio. 2. Fully extend the telescopic aerial. Operation modes Your radio has 3 operation modes, DAB, FM and Playlist mode. 1. Using an SD memory card with your radio An SD card can be used in your radio for recording, playing back previously recorded radio programs, or playing back MP2/MP3/WMA files transferred from a PC. Depending on the radio station a 128MB SD card will give typically 2- 4 hours of recording time.
