Adjusting the Handset Rest When you connect your phone, you can adjust the handset rest so that the receiver will not slip out of the cradle. Use the following method to adjust the handset: 1. Choosing Touch Screen Items To choose items on your phone’s touch screen, use one of the following methods: By touch, press (or tap) touch-sensitive items on the touch screen with your fingertip. Line and Call Icons The difference between lines and calls is as follows: Lines—Each corresponds to a directory number that others can use to call you. Your phone can support up to eight lines.
