GETTING STARTED Connecting Headphones (Optional) The CX-R189 is equipped with both an integrated speaker and a head- phone output jack that can be used to connect headphones or an external speaker system. The Headphone Out jack will accept headphones or speakers with a 3.5mm connector plug. If headphones or speakers are connected to the Headphone Out jack, the integrated speaker will be disabled. The CX-R189 voice recorder comes with software and a USB cable to connect to a PC. Connect to a computer over USB to transfer your recorded files, and use the included software to convert your recordings for playback on your PC in WAV format.
