1.2 Ports The computer’s ports allow you to connect peripheral devices to your computer just as you would to a desktop PC. The main ports are found on the computer’s rear panel. UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS (USB) PORT The computer’s USB (Universal Serial Bus) port located on the rear panel allows you to connect peripherals without occupying too many resources. Common USB devices include the mouse and keyboard.
