Region code Your system has a region code printed on the rear of the unit and will only play a DVD labeled with the same region code. ALL A DVD VIDEO labeled will also play on this system. If you try to play any other DVD VIDEO, the message [Playback prohibited by area limitations.] will appear on the TV screen. The distance can be between 1.0 to 7.0 meters.
