3.0 How it works The Infinity Model GPS-MIC-1 is a computerized handheld unit that scans the open skies looking for 14 GPS satellites overhead. 4.0 WARNINGS: While a GPS receiver is a useful tool, always use another method of navigation, such a map and chart and compass. This unit will always show the navigation information with the shortest line from your current location to a selected waypoint or users location, regardless of terrain or obstructions. 5.2 Charging Battery Pack To charge the battery, one must connect the supplied cable between the GPS-MIC-1 unit and a USB computer port and or charging adapter. To access the USB Com Port on the GPS-MIC-1 unit, open the flap on the bottom of the unit as show. Connect one end of the supplied interface cable to the base of the handheld unit (Small USB). Secure the GPS-MIC-1 cable to the handheld GPS unit using the two set screws provided with the cable. The connection to the GPS-MIC-1 must be flush and level.
