Different jacks and cables provide a different level of performance. It’s important to remember the different degrees of picture improvement for comparison. Connections & Setup Back Panel VID2 • RGB/YPbPr (mini D-sub 15 pin) For connection of components that have RGB or component output jacks (Y, Pb, Pr), such as a personal computer, HD receiver, DVD player, or external RGB decoder. Connections & Setup Remove the Plate On the Back Panel You need to remove the plate on the back panel in order to use the jacks. As the picture to the left shows, push down on the tab and pull out the back plate carefully. When you are finished connecting a component to the jacks, replace the plate. Connections & Setup Using VID2 Connect a component, such as a DVD player or digital cable box, to the TV using the VID2 jacks. Connect the supplied 15 pin D-sub to component video cable adapter to the RGB/YPbPr jack on the back of the TV. Then connect component video cables to the adapter and connect the other end to the component video jacks (Y, Pb, Pr) on the component.
