This chapter describes how to install a VRC 6940 terminal into a vehicle or onto a wall or workbench. Please read all of these instructions before you begin. Caution A properly trained technician must perform the installation. Improper installation can damage your vehicle. Installing Hardware Providing Power: Vehicle Installations VRC 6940 terminals can be powered by: ! 12V or 24V gas-powered vehicles ! battery-powered vehicles, up to 60 volts To provide power to a vehicle-installed VRC 6940: 1.
