Playing the Keyboard Selecting the Instrumental Sound You Wish to Play The ep-90/70 allows you to play using eight different sounds including piano. The ep-90/70’s sounds are called “Tones.” Use the eight Tone buttons to select tones. Playing the Keyboard Adding Reverberation to the Sound—Reverb Effect The ep-90/70 allows you to add reverberation to what you play on the keyboard. With the Reverb Effect, you can get a pleasant reverberation, making it sound as if you were performing in a concert hall or similar space. The settings of the Reverb Effect cannot be memorized independently for each sound. Playing the Keyboard Adding Breadth to the Sound—Chorus Effect The ep-90/70 allows you to add chorus to what you play on the keyboard. By adding the Chorus Effect, you can give the sound greater dimension, with more fatness and breadth. The settings of the Chorus Effect are memorized independently for each sound. When the power is turned on, the Chorus Effect will be applied to the “E.Piano” and “Vibraphone” sounds. The Chorus Effect will be turned off for the other sounds. fig.5-06 Metronome

Try Recording Your Performance You can record what you play on your piano. When you record, pay attention to the setting of the [Tempo] knob. Be sure to set it to the tempo MEMO at which you wish to record. Only one song can be recorded on the ep-90/70. If a previously recorded performance exists, it NOTE will be erased the moment you begin recording another performance.
