UNPACKING AND CLEANING Carefully unpack the tool and all loose items from the shipping container(s). Remove the protective coating from all unpainted surfaces. This coating may be removed with a soft cloth moistened with kerosene (do not use acetone, gasoline or lacquer thinner for this purpose). After cleaning, cover the unpainted surfaces with a good quality household floor paste wax. Place a K 5/16" lockwasher onto a 5/16-18x5/8" hex head screw, insert screw (P) Fig. 13 through chute (K), thread screw M into drum (N) and tighten securely. Place a 5/16" lockwasher onto a 5/16-18x5/8" hex head screw (W), insert the hex head T screw through drum support arm (T), and thread into base (B). Repeat this process for the remaining hole.
