Description of Air Filtration System ® How the QuietFlo Ultra HEPA Air Purifier System Works As the air is pulled into the purifier, the activated carbon pre-filter absorbs odors and catches large particles. Then, the air travels through the HEPA filter where the smaller particles are collected. To help you know when to change the filters, your Hunter Air Purifier has Filter Life Counters that will monitor the life of your filter. Air Purifier Maintenance Cleaning Your Air Purifier Proper maintenance of your Hunter Air Purifier will help ensure years of trouble free service. Air Purifier Maintenance To change the filter and reset the Filter Life Counter: 1. First, turn off and unplug the air purifier. 2. Next, remove the front grill. Place your fingers under the handle on the grill and pull forward, then up. Refer to Figs. 4 and 5 (pg. 6). 3. Gently pull on the filter to remove it from the unit.
