3 Setting Up the Monitor To set up the monitor, ensure that the power is turned off to the monitor, computer system, and other attached devices, then follow the instructions below. Selecting the Signal Connectors and Cables The monitor features two DVI-D dual-link connectors capable of supporting high resolution digital input. NOTE The high resolution of the monitor requires a dual-link DVI-D input signal. The monitor can only display a 2560 x 1600 resolution; therefore, the computer must support a high- performance video card that is capable of scaling all video modes to 2560 x 1600. Turning on the Monitor 1. Press the power switch to turn on the computer. 2. Press the master power switch on the rear of the LCD. 3. Press the power button on the front of the monitor. CAUTION Burn-in image damage may occur on monitors that display the same static image on screen for a prolonged period of time.* To avoid burn-in image damage on your monitor screen, you should always activate a screen saver application or turn off the monitor when it is not in use for a prolonged period of time.

CAUTION This monitor supports the VESA industry standard 100mm mounting holes.
