1 INSTALLATION 1-1. Connecting the monitor to the PC 1)Be sure that the power switches of both the PC and the monitor are OFF. 2)Plug the signal cable into the connector at the rear of the monitor. VESA DPMS What is VESA DPMS? E The acronym VESA stands for “Video Electronics Standards Association,” and DPMS stands for “Display Power Management Signaling.” DPMS is a com- munication standard that PCs and graphics boards use to implement power savings at the monitor side.
