3. Position the CPU above the socket such that the CPU corner with the gold triangle matches the socket corner with a small triangle. 4. Carefully insert the CPU into the socket until it fits in place. Gold triangle The CPU fits only in one correct orientation. 1.7 System memory 1.7.1 Overview The motherboard comes with two Double Data Rate (DDR) Dual Inline Memory Module (DIMM) sockets. These sockets support up to 2GB system memory using 184-pin PC3200/PC2700/PC2100 unbuffered DDR DIMMs and allow up to 3.2 GB/s data transfer rate.
