Ensure that the smoke detector is not installed directly on or near large metal objects as they can affect the radio range. Before installing the SD10 smoke detector on your ceiling or the wall, ensure that the SD10 is within range of your Marmitek security system. You can test this by pushing the test button of the SD10.
