Operation LED Indicators This alarm is equipped with a red LED indicator, with two modes of operation. Red LED - Flashing every 30-40 seconds:Indicates that the smoke alarm is operating properly. Red LED - Flashing: When the smoke alarm senses particles of combustion and goes into alarm (constant pulsating sound), the red LED will flash once per second. Operation Battery Tamper Resist Feature This alarm has a battery tamper resist feature, which prevents the battery door from being opened.
