Activating Your Phone Installing the Battery 1. With the cover removed, verify the SIM card is securely inserted. 2. Install the battery by aligning its 3 brass tabs to those located at the bottom of the battery compartment (1). The arrow on the battery should be pointing towards the prongs. 3.
