Your phone Backlight A backlight illuminates the display and the keypad. When you press any key, the backlight turns on and remains on for a given period of time, depending on the Backlight option settings. The display turns off after one minute to conserve your battery power. To specify the length of time the backlight is active, set the Backlight option settings (Menu 5.1.5).
