Assembling Your Food Processor CAUTION: Follow these important steps to assemble the food processor quickly and correctly . Injury may result if moving blades are accidentally exposed. Unplug appliance from electrical outlet before assembling, removing, or cleaning. Never place motor or cord in water or other liquids. Using Your Food Processor – Chopping and Mixing 1. Follow the assembly instructions in the Assembling your Food Processor section. 2. Make sure the switch is OFF and the food processor is unplugged. 3. The chopping blade can be used to coarsely or finely chop, and mince foods. Bread, crackers or cookies- Break into 1-inch pieces and process continuously until desired texture is reached. Hard cheese- If cheese is too hard to cut with a knife, don’t try to chop it in the food processor as it may damage the blade. (Do not attempt to chop parmesan cheese in the food processor .)
