Powering on the System Once successfully installed the scanner is ready to be powered on. 1. On the MFD (Multi-Function Display), press the red Power button. Scanner Installation The following section covers the installation and setup of the GMR 20 (2 kW) and GMR 40 (4 kW) Marine Radars. Mounting the Scanner 1. Once a suitable mounting location has been determined, verify that the mounting hole locations are aligned fore and aft, then drill four 9.5 mm (0.37”) mounting holes referencing Figure 1 below.
