OPERATING INSTRUCTION The infrared remote control relies on a line of sight and must be pointed at the controls of the log set to work. The remote control unit has the controls required to turn ON/OFF both the main power and the heater. If you prefer to use the control buttons on the log set unit itself, they are on the lower right corner of the unit.
