FORWARD-FACING INSTALLATION 1 Adjust car seat to upright or semi-upright position and place forward-facing on vehicle seat. VEHICLE SEAT BELTS WARNING Not all vehicle seat belts can be used with a car seat. The car seat must be held securely at all times by a lap belt (or lap belt portion of a lap/shoulder belt) that will not change length while driving.
