The term “soft” merely means that the function of the button or knob is temporary, being assigned via the menu display. System Overview 1 Introduction This section presents a general description of the Grass Valley Model 3000 Switching System, pointing out specific areas of interest to the operator. Both the 3000-2 (a two-effects switcher) and the 3000-3 (a three-effects switcher) are covered.
