1 • Introduction Model 6511RC User Manual Model 6511RC Matrix Switch overview The Model 6511RC Matrix Switch (see figure 1) combines TDM aggregation and cross-connection with high- speed packet switching over synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) and Ethernet uplinks for the Patton Fore- Front Access Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) system.
