Section 2 Hardware Installation 2.4 Cascading / Daisy Chaining of multiple KVM Switches The P16-IP can be cascaded with LINDY P-Series CPU switches only. It should not be used with LINDY PXT-Series CPU Switches. For all cascaded installations, the P16-IP should always be used as the MASTER switch. To send commands to the KVM switch, the “SCROLL LOCK” key must be pressed twice within 2 seconds. You will hear a beep to confirm that the keyboard is in hotkey mode.
