Connecting the Speakers Place the speakers on either side of the main unit. Connect the speaker on the left side of the main unit to the “L” speaker jack on the back panel. Connect the speaker on the right side of the main unit to the “R” speaker jack on the back panel. Remote Control Battery The remote control operates on one 3-volt lithium battery, type CR2025 or equivalent, included. To insure that the battery is fresh the first time you use your system we have placed plastic spacer between the battery and the battery terminal. You must remove this spacer before using the remote for the first time. To remove the spacer, pull on the small tab that is extending outside the battery compartment as shown. Changing The Lithium Battery When the operation of the remote becomes intermittent or the main unit no longer responds to the remote commands, it is probably time to change the remote battery. Open the battery compartment by squeezing the battery compartment locking tab as shown and slide the battery holder out of the battery compartment. Presetting Stations In The Tuner Memory The tuner in this system has a total of 20 preset station memories that allow you to store up to 10 AM and 10 FM stations for easy recall at any time. 1.)
