Scanner Installation To maintain compliance with applicable standards, all circuits con- nected to the scanner must meet the requirements for SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) according to EN 60950. Configuration to the Host System The scanner is shipped from the factory programmed to a set of default conditions noted in the ScanSelect™ Scanner Programming Guide by an asterisk that appears before the brief definition located next to the bar code. Stand Installation With the Metrologic stand (Part #45475), the scanner can be posi- tioned in one of two directions. The two orientation choices are vertical or horizontal.
