INTRODUCTION Cable Removal Disconnect the power supply from the PowerLink cable and turn off power to the host system before removing the cable from the scanner. 1. INSTALLATION Keyboard Wedge 1. Turn off the host system. 2. Plug the male, 10-pin RJ45 end of the PowerLink cable into the 10-pin socket on the MS5145. 3. Disconnect the keyboard from the host/PC. 4. Eight settings are available for the tone of the beep (normal, six alternate tones and no tone).
