Backlight: Press and hold the button (for more than 3 seconds and less than 5 seconds), to turn the Backlight ON for 3 seconds. Setting Your Vehicle Into Ready Mode If your vehicle has a manual transmission you must read the following indications. Ignition-Controlled Door Locks This is an added security feature. If your remote starter was installed with the ignition-controlled door locks option, the doors will automatically lock as soon as the key is turned to the IGNITION ON (RUN) position while the brakes are pressed.
