Using Your Ink Jet Printer Safely and Efficiently The EPSON Stylus COLOR uses two ink cartridges, one black and one color. Inside the print head, tiny spray units shoot ink from the cartridges onto the page to form characters or graphics. Installing the Ink Cartridges Caution: The ink cartridges are self-contained units. Under ordinary c use, ink will not leak from a cartridge. If ink does get on your hands, wash them thoroughly with soap and water. If ink gets into your eyes, flush them immediately with water.
