Installing Batteries 1. Remove the battery compartment cover at the bottom of the radio by sliding it off in the direction of the arrow. 2. Install three AA batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and –) marked inside the compartment. 3. Replace the cover. Warning: Dispose of batteries promptly and properly.
