I. OVERVIEW The Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III is a new, top-of-the-line, professional DSLR autofocus camera with a 35mm full-frame, 21.1-megapixel CMOS sensor. It was developed in parallel with the totally new EOS-1D Mark III, so the cameras are similar in many respects.
