6 Setting up your Pepper wireless pad Using the power button The power button is on the top right of the Pepper pad. When your pad is on, this button is lit. You always use this button to turn the pad on. You can also use this button to put the pad to sleep or to turn it off completely. We recommend that you turn your pad off only if you know you will not be using it for several days. If you do turn your Pepper pad off completely, the icons for the applications you were using are still displayed at the bottom of the screen when you turn the pad on again.
