QUICK INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR PS/2 CONNECTION 1. Be sure that your computer is powered off. 2. Connect the receiver to your computer’s PS/2 port. The receiver has a 2-head connector for the Keyboard and Mouse connections (purple is for the Keyboard and the USB connection; the green is for the Mouse). QUICK INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR USB CONNECTION 1. Be sure that your computer is turned on. If you are running Windows 98, Me, or 2000, you will need to keep your old keyboard and mouse connected for installation. 2. Connect only the receiver to your computer through the USB port. Do not connect the purple PS/2 connection. It is not needed in a USB environment. Note: When connecting the USB cable to your computer, Windows will start a New Hardware Wizard. TROUBLESHOOTING The Keyboard and/or Mouse is/are not detected or do not work after installation. • Make sure the receiver cables are plugged into either the computer’s PS/2 port or a USB port.
