Reverb 5 Reverb The GranTouch features sophisticated reverberation effects, which enhance the digital piano by adding natural ambience to the sound. Setting the Amount of Reverb The amount of reverb applied to the piano sound is determined by the REVERB control on the Control Box. 6 Pitch Pitch Initially the GranTouch is tuned to the standard Concert Pitch (A=440 hertz). You can, how- ever, adjust the pitch to suit your particular application. Different pitches are sometimes used in vocal music and orchestral performances. The pitch can be adjusted in one hertz steps from 438 to 445 hertz (one hertz is about four cents). Playing Other MIDI Instruments (MIDI OUT) 9 Playing Other MIDI Instruments (MIDI OUT) MIDI is an acronym for Musical Instrument Digital Interface.
