Setup (continued) z About the IR receiver This DVD remote control is intended for use with PlayStation®2 consoles with a built-in IR receiver. For such consoles, the IR receiver is located on the console front, between the 1 (standby)/reset button and the A (open) button. When using the DVD remote control, point the IR transmitter end of the DVD remote control at the IR receiver of the console.
