Soft Key Function "Soft" keys are keys that change function during the operation of the phone. There are three soft keys on each handset. B. Install the Rechargeable Battery Pack into the Handset The handset is powered by a rechargeable battery pack. The battery recharges automatically when the handset is placed in the base unit.
