Getting started PREPARING FOR USE About ISDN This cordless phone is suitable for use with Euro-ISDN. USING THE MENUS The cordless phone can be operated via menus in the handset, which are arranged in loops. For instance, you can enter the main menu option PhoneBook by pressing >PhoneBook either the UP or the DOWN key. Press the UP or Handset DOWN key again to scroll through other options. When using more than one handset If you are using more than one handset with the base station you can give all handsets different telephone numbers or up to two handsets the same tele- phone number. By giving the handsets different telephone numbers a particu- lar handset can be called by its own telephone number. This makes it easy, for example, to keep private phone calls and business phone calls separate. All handsets will then ring according to the ringing order (see “Ringer” on page 21)
