WARNING 1 Use only approved nickel-cadmium (NiCad) rechargeable batteries. Never use any other batteries, or conventional alkaline batteries. Battery performance After charging your Diverse 2000 Executive Handset for the first time, subsequent charging time for the handset batteries is approximately 4-5 hours. Batteries and case may become warm during charging. This is normal and not dangerous. Under ideal conditions, the handset batteries should give about 6 hours talktime or 50 hours standby on a single charge. Getting the most out of your batteries Avoid replacing the handset on the base station between calls. It is best to keep the handset off the base for a few hours at a time.
