Here are the steps to send a fax from your HP OfficeJet Pro 6970:
1. Load your document you want to fax on the ADF (automatic document feeder) or the scanner glass.

4. Tap on the box next to "Fax To", here enter the fax number you want to send a fax to. You can also select the number from your phonebook by tapping on Phone Book.
