Garmin EDGE-TOURING-PLUS user manual

The main difference between the Garmin Edge Touring and the Garmin Edge Touring Plus is that the Plus model has the added feature of ANT+ compatibility which allows it to connect with a heart rate monitor and other sensors to provide more detailed insights on your cycling performance. The Plus version also includes a barometric altimeter to track changes in elevation, whereas the regular version does not.

To upload a route to your Garmin Edge Touring Plus, you can follow these steps:
1. Connect your Garmin Edge Touring Plus device to your computer using a USB cable.
. Visit the Garmin Connect website (connect.garmin.com) and sign in to your account. If you don't have an account, create one.
3. Once signed in, click on the "Activities" tab at the top of the page.
4. On the Activities page, find the "Create Course" button and click on it.
5. In the Create Course page, you can create a new course if desired or import a previously created route by clicking on "Import Course."
6. If you import a previously created route, choose the file format (.GPX, .TCX, .FIT, etc.) compatible with your route file, and select the file from your computer.
7. The selected route file will begin uploading to Garmin Connect.
8. Once the upload is complete, your route will appear in the Courses section of Garmin Connect.
9. Safely disconnect your Garmin Edge Touring Plus from your computer.
10. On your device, navigate to the "Courses" section by pressing the menu button, selecting "Courses," and then choosing your desired route from the list.
11. Select the route and press the "Ride!" button to start following the uploaded route on your Garmin Edge Touring Plus.
