Items Needed:
1. White Vinegar

Steps:
1. Remove all capsules and capsule container: Eject any capsules into the container and remove it from the machine.

. Prepare descaling solution: Fill half of the water tank with white vinegar.
3. Add water: Fill the rest of the water tank with 1 liter of water.

4. Descale your machine: Place a container capable of holding up to 1 liter of liquid under the coffee outlet. Turn your machine on and press the "Lungo" button. Repeat this process until the water tank is empty.
5. Let it sit: After descaling with vinegar, let the machine sit for 15 to 20 minutes, allowing the vinegar to break down any remaining scale.
6. Rinse: Rinse out the water tank and coffee outlet. Fill the water tank with fresh, clean water and press the "Lungo" button to rinse the machine. Repeat until the water tank is empty.
7. Clean outer parts: Use a soft damp cloth to wipe down the outer parts of your machine.
Make sure to descale your Nespresso machine every three months or so to keep it in good condition. Please note that white vinegar will not clean as thoroughly as a descaler, but it's enough for regular maintenance.
