The CTEK MXS 5.0 charger features a series of LED lights to indicate its charging status. Here is what the lights mean:
1. Red LED: When the charger is connected to a power outlet, the red light will illuminate, indicating that it is receiving power.
2. Orange LED: This light signals that the charger is in the "Supply" mode, providing a constant voltage power supply to maintain the battery's voltage during equipment changeover or diagnostic work.
3. Yellow LED: It represents the "Recondition" mode, which is used to restore the capacity of deeply discharged batteries.
4. Blinking Green LED: This light indicates that the charger is in the "Normal" charging mode and actively charging the battery.
5. Solid Green LED: When the green light is continuously lit, it means the charging process has reached completion, and your battery is fully charged. The charger will automatically switch to a maintenance mode at this point.
6. Flashing Green LED: If the green light is flashing quickly (approximately twice per second), it indicates a potential problem with the battery or the charger's connection. Ensure the connections are correct and that the battery is in good condition.
