Behringer X-AIR-XR18 user manual

The Behringer X-Air XR18 digital mixer can support up to 18 devices simultaneously. These devices can be a combination of computers, smartphones, or tablets running compatible control software.

To set up your Behringer X Air XR18, follow these steps:
1. Connect your XR18 to a power source using the provided power cord and turn it on.
. Connect your computer or mobile device to the XR18's Wi-Fi network. The default network name is "XR18" followed by the last six digits of your XR18's serial number, and the default password is "12345678" (without quotes).
3. Download and install the Behringer X Air Edit software on your computer or the X Air app on your mobile device. These applications allow you to control and configure the XR18.
4. Launch the X Air Edit software or app.
5. In the software/app, go to the settings and select the Wi-Fi tab.
6. Choose your XR18 from the available devices list and connect to it.
7. Once connected, you should see the main control interface of the XR18.
8. Configure your input and output settings according to your needs. You can adjust levels, apply effects, EQs, and more in this interface.
9. Connect your desired audio sources (microphones, instruments, etc.) to the XR18's input channels using balanced XLR or TRS cables.
10. Connect your speakers or monitor system to the XR18's Main Outputs or other appropriate outputs.
11. If additional control via physical faders and knobs is desired, you can connect an optional MIDI control surface to the XR18 using a USB cable.
12. Test the audio by playing sound through the connected sources and listening through your connected speakers/monitor system.
13. Adjust levels, effects, and other settings as required.
14. Save your settings as presets in the X Air Edit software/app for easy recall in future sessions.
