NEVER USE BIOLOGICAL WASHING POWDER, HARSH ABRASIVES, SCOURING PADS, AEROSOL CLEANERS OR OVEN CHEMICAL CLEANERS OF ANY KIND. If the electricity supply has failed, the burners can be lit with a match. If only a hotplate burner is failing to ignite, check that the burner body and cap are seated correctly and that the slots in the burner body are not blocked (see care and cleaning).
