15 Battery Installation and Replacement The remote control is powered by two 1.5V AA batteries. To install or replace batteries: 1.Turn the remote control unit upside down. 2.Press down on the battery compartment grip and slide the com- partment in the direction of the arrow. 3.Install the two new batteries, making sure that their polarity matches the (+) (-) diagrams inside the battery compartment.
