To raise or lower screen, place hands on each side of the monitor and lift or lower to the desired height (Figure RL.1). Remove the 4 screws connecting the monitor to the stand and lift off the stand assembly (Figure R.3) the monitor is now ready for mounting in an alternate manner. 6. Connect the AC cord, signal cable and audio cable to the back of the monitor (Figure R.4). 7. Reverse this process to reattach stand. NOTE: Use only VESA-compatible alternative mounting method. Controls OSM (On-Screen-Manager) Controls The OSM controls on the front of the monitor function as follows: To access OSM press any of the control buttons (<, >, -, +, EXIT). • Image Persistence: Image persistence is when a residual or “ghost” image of a previous image remains visible on the screen. Unlike CRT monitors, LCD monitors’ image persistence is not permanent, but constant images being displayed for a long period of time should be avoided.
