Chapter 1: Introduction Architectural Description The VTrak M310p and M210p are Direct Attached Storage (DAS) subsystems. Chapter 2: Installation Cautions • At least two persons are required to safely lift, place, and attach the VTrak enclosure into a rack system. • Do not lift or move the VTrak enclosure by the handles, power supplies or the controller units. Caution If you plan to operate your VTrak with fewer than a full load of disk drives, install all of the drive carriers into the enclosure, to ensure proper airflow for cooling.
