Desktop Board Features Main Memory NOTE ® To be fully compliant with all applicable Intel SDRAM memory specifications, the board should be populated with DIMMs that support the Serial Presence Detect (SPD) data structure. The Intel Z68 PCH includes Intel Rapid Storage Technology and Intel Smart Response Technology. ® Intel Rapid Storage Technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology version 10.6 enables Intel Smart Response Technology and full Serial ATA (SATA) interface speed up to 6 Gb/s to support next-generation Solid State Drives (SSDs) or traditional Hard Disk Drives (HDDs).
