INTRODUCTION 2 DEVELOPMENTAL ENVIRONMENT The software product of the development support tool S5U1C62xxxD operates on the following host systems: • IBM PC/AT (at least PC-DOS Ver. 2.0) When developing the S1C62XXX, the above-mentioned host computer, editor, P-ROM writer, printer, etc. must be prepared by the user in addition to the development tool which is normally supported by Seiko Epson. INTRODUCTION 4 INSTALLATION The S5U1C62xxxD tools are included on the CD-ROM of the S5U1C62000A (S1C60/62 Family Assembler Package), and they can be installed in your hard disk using the installer (Setup.exe) on the CD-ROM. Refer to the "S5U1C62000A Manual" for how to install the S5U1C62xxxD tools. Note The DMS6200 configures a menu from files that are located in the current directory. INTRODUCTION 5 DIFFERENCES FROM MODEL TO MODEL AND PRECAUTIONS There may be some models in which the following two types software tools contained in the S5U1C62xxxD are not included. (1) Segment Option Generator SOG62XX This is not included in the software tools of models in which the segment option has not been set.
